About Dojo Bianco

It began as a way of living.

Dojo Bianco was not conceived around a hotel category or a treatment menu. It grew from a belief that nature, beauty, meaningful work, pleasure and human depth could belong to the same life.

Why Dojo

A place where life does not have to be divided into pieces.

The idea was simple: create a place where the setting, the people, the animals, the food and the therapeutic work are not separate departments. They meet each other naturally, because that is how life actually happens.

That is why Dojo stayed small. Four rooms allow the place to remain personal enough to notice who has arrived, what kind of day they are having and when more — or less — is needed.

01

Beauty without performance.

Good food, beautiful rooms, a clay court, a remarkable pool and the Tuscan landscape are here to be enjoyed — not to prove anything.

02

Depth without theatre.

Therapeutic work can be serious without making every hour feel serious. There is room for insight, silence, humour, appetite and ordinary life.

03

Attention over excess.

The rare thing at Dojo is not more. It is enough time and attention for the experience to respond to the person rather than asking the person to fit the experience.

The people behind it

Two bodies of work. One place built around them.

Dojo Bianco brings together two bodies of work and one way of living. Dr. Ceren Akçelik Brunini works across neuroscience, psychology, somatic practice, Gestalt, the Brennan healing lineage and horse-assisted work. Giulio Brunini brings decades of embodied practice, somatic coaching, leadership work, movement and relational presence. The land, animals, hospitality and everyday life are not a backdrop to that work; they are part of the place they hold.

That lived quality matters. Dojo does not ask you to become a different kind of person while you are here. It offers enough space for you to become more present to the life that is already yours.

Dr. Ceren Akçelik Brunini

Ceren’s work asks what it takes for change to become embodied rather than simply understood. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience and an MSc in Psychology, is a Gestalt practitioner and ICF ACC coach, and is a graduate and former faculty / teacher of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. Her training also includes PSEN PsychoEnergetics, psycho-oncology and advanced somatic and energy-informed work. At Dojo Bianco she follows psychological, relational, nervous-system and energetic material together; horses and the natural environment can enter the work when they are useful.

Giulio Brunini

Giulio is a Master Somatic Coach whose work explores how the body organises under pressure, in relationship and in action. Before devoting himself fully to this work, he spent more than fifteen years in senior corporate leadership, including CEO and director roles. His training includes the Strozzi Institute, Newfield Network and the Gestalt Center for Coaching, alongside movement, yoga and equine work. At Dojo Bianco he brings the precision of executive and somatic coaching into a slower setting where posture, choice, action and new ways of responding can be explored in real time.

How we work together

Different lineages. A shared attention.

Dojo Bianco began in 2015 as Ceren and Giulio’s work and their way of living moved closer to the land, animals and seasons. It was never meant to separate hospitality from inner work. The room you sleep in, the table, the horses, the quiet and the sessions all belong to the same place.

They do not offer interchangeable versions of the same method. Ceren often follows psychological, relational, energetic and nervous-system material; Giulio often enters through posture, movement, action, pressure and choice. In a DBI or longer stay, those perspectives can meet when that is useful — without turning the experience into a fixed protocol.

What they share is an attention to embodiment: insight matters, but what a person can actually feel, inhabit and live matters more. The intention is not to perform transformation. It is to create enough continuity for something understood intellectually to become more available in the body and in everyday life.

Ceren

Psychology, neuroscience, healing, relational and energy-informed work.

Giulio
